Senior Full Stack Developer
About The Position
About the Role
We’re looking for a strong Senior Full Stack Developer to join our platform engineering team and help build data-intensive, AI-driven products from the ground up. We’re looking for engineers who embrace AI as a core part of how they design, build, and deliver software – not just as a coding assistant, but as an integral part of modern software engineering.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is up to the challenges of owning major features and systems end-to-end – from technical design and architecture discussions through implementation, delivery, and production support. We are looking for someone highly independent, technically strong across both backend and frontend, and capable of driving complex initiatives with minimal guidance.
You’ll work closely with product managers, architects, researchers, and developers to rapidly prototype and deliver scalable applications using an AI-first engineering approach. We expect AI to be part of the entire development lifecycle – from technical design and implementation to testing, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement.
The role spans both backend and frontend development, with flexibility based on team and product needs. While there is a preference toward backend-oriented work, the developer is expected to contribute confidently across the stack – building scalable APIs and services, developing rich frontend experiences, and leveraging modern AI tools and engineering best practices to deliver efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
· Design and implement backend services and APIs using Nest.js and TypeScript.
· Build modern frontend applications and complex UI workflows using React.
· Own major product areas from planning and technical design, through implementation and delivery, all the way to deployment in customer facing environments.
· Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design scalable, maintainable systems.
· Leverage AI throughout the software development lifecycle to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, validate designs, automate repetitive tasks, and continuously improve engineering productivity.
· Improve application performance, reliability, and developer experience.
· Participate in architectural discussions and contribute technical ideas and trade-off analysis.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with product, research, and infrastructure teams.
· Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Requirements
· 6+ years of experience as a full stack developer.
· Strong backend development experience with Node.js / Nest.js.
· Strong frontend development experience with React and modern frontend tooling.
· Experience using modern AI development tools and workflows as a primary part of software engineering
· Experience designing and implementing scalable APIs and distributed systems.
· Ability to independently lead major technical tasks and features end-to-end.
· Strong understanding of architecture, system design, and engineering trade-offs.
· Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities.
· Experience with observability tools and optimizing the performance of production grade systems.
· Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and modern development practices.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Proactive mindset with strong ownership and execution abilities.
